If you are thinking about having a Halloween party there are tons of decorative ideas out there. However, would it not be more fun to scare your guests through their appetizers? There are several ways to make your food and drinks scary but this one will really shock your guests, putting spiders in their ice. Not real spiders of course, but that’s not what they’ll think!
What you’ll need:
Water
Ice tray
Fake spiders
Freezer
First, you will need to purchase the fake spiders, which can be found at any local Halloween store such as Party City, or local Wal-Mart or Dollar Tree. Keep in mind they will need to be small enough to fit into a standard size ice tray.
Next, you will place a spider in however many slots of the ice tray you desire. Depending on the size of the fake spider, you may be able to fit more than one into a slot, which could make it more alarming.
Since it is going to be ice, you of course need to put it in the freezer to let it harden.
Once it is time for your festivity, you can place the ice cubes in cups for punch or you can put them in the punch. Depending on when the guests receive their drinks, the spiders will still be frozen in the ice or floating around in their drink, which either way is quite terrifying.
Once you’ve put them in place, sit back and enjoy!
