1.) “Thriller” by Michael Jackson

- "Thriller is a widely remembered song that sky rocketed the career of a young Michael Jackson as a solo artist. The music video of the 80's piece told the story of a young couple on a late night stroll after their date and are later attacked by dancing zombies. The hypnotic beat paired with unforgettable dance moves offers a variety of options for a splendid event.

2.) “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by Blue Öyster Cult

- Many do not even realize how many times they have already heard this song whether it was in a movie or playing on the classic rock channel. Don’t Fear the Reaper” tells the tale of eternal love and the unbeatable death; which paired with amazing vocals and a great beat, makes a timeless classic.

3.) “Ghostbusters” by Ray Parker Jr.

-The song was originally written for the instant classic Ghostbusters film, and has since become a usual when thinking of Halloween or just ghouls in general. “Ghostbusters” was at the top of the charts for a number of weeks after it’s big debut. The easily recognizable theme song has since become a fine example of a time period now forgotten.

4.) “Halloween” by John Carpenter

-“Halloween” consists of a simple piano melody that has since become an icon for terrifying yet uncomplicated horror movie music. Following the masked serial killer, Michael Myers, the track signals when something horrible is coming towards one of the characters within the film. Released with the movie of the same name, the song has been haunting people with its unforgettable tempo for decades since.

5.) “Gods and Monsters” by Lana Del Ray

-Lana Del Ray has released a number of other singles Born to Die and Paradise and the most recent Born to Die—Paradise Edition. “Gods and Monsters” is one of more recent songs that have been released by her. The song was given a major promotion when American Horror Story’s, Jessica Lange, did a cover of the song for the new season, Freak Show.
