The Walking Dead

AMC has brought to life one of Robert Kirkman’s best selling comic book series, The Walking dead. The ongoing drama follows a group of survivors in the zombie apocalypse. Former police officer Rick Grimes leads the group out of countless sticky situations and at the same time, makes an effort to keep his family together.

From season one all the way to season five, the group has experienced escapade after escapade including living in a prison, surviving a plague, and defeating countless villains, while losing precious friends and family members along the way.

The seasons of The Walking Dead are broken apart into two shorter mid seasons as opposed to one long season. The first midseason of season five concluded Sunday night, becoming its highest rated midseason finale to date. In the final episode, the group makes a valiant effort to save two of the main characters from the grips of an antagonist. She is holding them in a hospital, which, surprisingly, is still functioning, although the corruption within it ultimately caused is own destruction. It ended with a shocking plot twist that left viewers speechless.
